Practical Workshop/ Course on effective Job Search /Job Change.

Course Starts on 20th April

Don't have the €'s for individual career guidance but still want to learn from one of the experts in this field in the Mid-West on how to change career, look for a job in the most effective way? This course is for you!! There are 6 modules in this course all no Saturdays from 12-4 in the Absolute. The course is bilingual and open for English and Polish speakers. Here are the learning outcomes of all units:

UNIT 1: Completed personal Value Exercise; Identified Individual Work Values; Defined their own job criteria and logistics; Links made between hobbies, interests and career.
UNIT 2: Defined next step in career path; Identified all the skills they possess (in most cases they are tenfold from what participants thought they had), Identified possible skills gap between career choice and existing skills.
UNIT 3: Know how to bridge the skills gap from Unit 2, Able to write a competitive CV that will get interviews based on skills identified in Unit 2.
UNIT 4: Have their CV's from Unit 3 reviewed, Figure out who is in their networks and how to use the people in their network, have a message for people to introduce them to the key decision makers, Know how to do an effective job search.
UNIT 5: Know how to tailor your CV from Unit 3 to specific job ads, how to write cover letters and emails, how to follow up on applications.
UNIT 6: Know how to do competency or behavioural based interviews, how to answer awkward interview questions (based partly on mock interviews), know how to negotiate a deal with the employer if offered a job.
Personal Investment for this course is ONLY €150.
