OUR SERVICE COMMITMENT

  • Our advisers are here to help and will generally be able to resolve your query there and then. If not, we will tell you what we need to do and arrange a time to call you back with a proposed solution which will contain a full explanation of the issue that occurred. If we were at fault, we will apologise.
  • We aim to reach an appropriate resolution of your complaint within three days, in the majority of cases - if for any reason we do not respond to your complaint or if we do not contact you within 10 working days you will be entitled to compensation as set out in our Customer Charter.

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION – FOI


The Freedom of Information Acts establishes the right of members of the public to obtain access to official information to the greatest extent possible consistent with the public interest and the right to privacy of individuals.
The Freedom of Information Act 1997 commenced on 21st April 1998 for Government Departments and Offices and certain other Government bodies, and on 21st October 1998 for Local Authorities and Health Boards.
The Freedom of Information (Amendment) Act 2003 came into force on 11th April 2003.
The Act established three new statutory rights:
1.      A legal right for each person to access information held by Public Bodies

    New Economic Plan for Limerick

    Limerick Leader 2030: A new economic plan for Limerick city has been launched

    AN AMBITIOUS plan aimed at transforming Limerick and its economy has been launched today at the Strand Hotel.

    The €250m plan - ‘Limerick 2030 – An Economic and Spatial Plan for Limerick’ was unveiled by Local Government Minister Phil Hogan, Finance Minister Michael Noonan and Housing Minister Jan O’Sullivan.
    It has the potential to deliver 5,000 new jobs and sets out a number of objectives which will considerably change the infrastructure of the city centre and deliver a whole new vision for Limerick as a leading centre for commercial investment. MORE
